Come see what all the shouting is about. Idiots and Angels, Bill Plympton’s sixth hand drawn feature film, has been winning award after award at film festivals all over the world. Plympton made his debut as a cartoonist at Oregon City High School, where he realized he liked being a provocateur. He always been the animator’s animator (Matt Groening states flatly “Bill Plympton is God”) and is especially adored in France.
Possibly the most adult story ever told about someone with wings, Idiots and Angels’ soundtrack features music by Tom Waits, Pink Martini and Three Leg Torso.
“Cartoons are very powerful. They can change the way people think.” Bill Plympton
I hereby claim Idiots and Angels as an Oregon film.
