After graduating from Jefferson High School, Virginia Patton acted on her childhood dream and moved to Los Angeles. Her two biggest films came out in 1946. She appeared in Frank Capra’s Its A Wonderful Life, and, uncredited, in Canyon Passage.
Strange but true: Ward Bond was in both films as well – playing the kind hearted Officer Bert (paired up with Frank Faylen’s cab driving Ernie) in Its A Wonderful Life, and the villain Honey Bragg, morally disfigured by gold lust in Canyon Passage.
